reasonable stay with room for improvement

The room was spacious and well laid out. The location is convenient for accessing the airport without the hassle.

It was a good basic hotel which had impeccable service. All the staff was courteous, fixed my issues. The rooms were cozy and cool for its spa tub and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I had a delicious meal at the in-house restaurant. My stay was nice here.

The staff were very amiable, peaceful and particularly good location next to the turnpike I heard.

The pancake platter at the nearby diner was a real game-changer, fluffy and delish-perfect fuel for exploring Carteret! Plus, snagging affordable eats at China King Buffet was a win. The price was a steal compared to New York City. A solid deal for budget-minded travelers.

The gym and pool were both a no-show , a bummer.

Comfortable bed. As with all Holiday Inn's, love the firm and soft pillows. A freezer and fridge, and a microwave in the room, if that's important. Good shower. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Ample parking.

Carpets and filters from heaters need to be cleaned out. Finding eateries is a challenge in a town of just 20,000.

The room was cool and had a very comfy bed. The location was peaceful - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

A charming seaside getaway

The room was really nice with a fantastic view of the ocean. The team was cute and were really nice for us throughout our stay.

We were disappointed that the pool was closed .

what you pay is what you get. based on value for money this is a very nice hotel to stay.

They could look at installing security anchors for motorbikes , be a feather in their cap to get more bikers to stay , just a suggestion

Great 24-hour reception and clean rooms, but wi-fi was spotty .

The breakfast wasn't exactly free. We used Booked.net to reserve a room and it FREE breakfast but we had to get vouchers from the front desk and pay $9.00 because it free up to $20 per person...wish we would have known as that

The bed was really comfortable, and the staff offered a friendly reception. Cleanliness was an issue with dust in the room and the hallway had a stale odor. It would have been nice to have fresh towels and room service during the stay.

Had a blast with friends ! The service was great and Amanda and Cassandra. We visited San Diego for its beautiful beaches and also checked out Las Vegas for some fun and nightlife. Just a heads up , the bar could use longer hours on weekends!

One issue was the cleanliness of the room we were given, it really needed some attention, especially during these times. Thankfully, the staff was friendly about other aspects.

Everything was good, nevertheless a few employees were not very helpful. The location for Carteret was convenient, short walk to Carteret, trucks, and the bar restaurant where the food is delicious. There was an in-house restaurant nearby.

The staff was friendly, and my room was much cleaner than before. I also appreciated having a fridge and microwave for some late-night snacks.
